Sadly, if you own Age of Mythology EE, you'll pay full price for the Retold upgrade!

I was just saying earlier today that you need to be very careful when upgrading to the Retold version of Age of Mythology.

And just as I was getting ready to buy the Premium Upgrade, I realized that because I already own the Extended Edition, I need to buy the base game once again!

Here’s the message that I got:

It says that “your account doesn’t own some items that are required for purchasing the items in your cart. You can add the missing items or adjust the contents of your cart to continue”.

Developers forgot to think of Extended Edition players, and that’s outrageous to me!

Thus, the biggest supporters of the game will have to shell the full price, unfortunately, so make sure to be aware of this and understand that you can’t upgrade from Extended Edition to Retold, you just have to buy the full game once again!!!

Of course, you can choose to buy the standard version and not the premium one, but to be honest, I think it’s worth getting the Premium one.
