Age of Mythology World Twists

Age of Mythology: Retold’s newest Arena of the Gods mod, which was released last week and is an awesome experience that makes the game even greater, gives the player access to blessings and world twists, which make the game not only more enjoyable but also unpredictable and quite fun.

While the blessings are perks that can enhance your experience and give you an edge against your opponents, the world twists in Arena of the Gods can turn these Age of Mythology matches into a nightmare if you don’t know how to handle them.

They’re unpredictable, meaning they can occur at any time, and while they might seem like a blessing, many of them can lose you the Scenario if you’re not handling it correctly.

There are 11 world twists in Age of Mythology: Retold – Arena of the Gods, and each comes with its advantages and disadvantages that you’ll need to learn to manage if you want to win.

You need to consider that Age of Mythology: Retold has designed Arena of the Gods with world twists to complement the blessings and how you choose your Pantheon for maximum efficiency. For example, Hel’s Mythic Frenzy world twist would be best used by choosing Loki as your major God within the Norse Pantheon and Hel as your Mythic minor God.

But, of course, you’re free to go with other options, as Arena of the Gods lets you replay each Scenario and choose different pantheons for many of them. You should read about the blessings here to develop an idea and a strategy for each scenario.

And, as we mentioned before, if you’re planning to play Arena of the Gods solo, make sure to go for the Hard or Extreme difficulty.

Arena of the Gods is now available in Age of Mythology: Retold as a free mod, and you can get it now from Steam.
