Key notes
- The Egyptian Pantheon relies on gold for many advancements.
- Using God Powers and Myth Units early in the game can be decisive.
- Here are the best Build Orders for the Egyptian Pantheon.
The best Egyptian Build Orders in Age of Mythology: Retold are centered on either using certain Egyptian Major Gods abilities (such as Set’s ability to allow Priests to convert animals) in conjecture with some really smart usage of Minor God Powers, or relying on an economic advantage to build a strong army in the first 10 minutes of a match.
While we focused here on playing with Set or Ra (the strongest and the weakest Major Egyptian God, respectively), some of the best Egyptian Build Orders in Age if Mythology: Retold also include Isis. In fact, that one is so good that we covered it in the list of the best Build Orders in the game, regardless of the Pantheon.
With that being said, the following Build Orders are smart enough to surprise your opponents with, and any player, casual or pro, can use them, as they’re easy to follow and implement. You might want to try them with AI first – go for the Extreme/Legendary difficulty mode and see how they work there.
It’s also worth noting that these Build Orders mainly focus on starting the game, but they can be easily adapted to long-term matches as well after you get a grip on your enemy.
Without further ado, let’s get into it.
